Golf trip with friends
Stayed many times over the years at the centara & experience is always super positive. The staff are wonderful, service first rate, facilities are excellent. I understand a major refurbishment is planned which is appropriate - rooms are now looking a little weathered. Club facilities are really excellent. The only negatives would be poor in-room tv/ movie & internet facilities. Cozy Room and Excellent Location, with Minor Drawbacks
The hotel room had a dark, cozy ambiance, which was quite inviting, though there was some noise from the hallway that could be heard inside. The room provided flip-flops for beach instead of the usual slippers. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, with easy access to nearby bars, shops, and restaurants. What a wonderful gem of a hotel
First time visit to Hua Hin and the Centara Grand and it most definitely will not be the last. The hotel has a colonial theme and a 100 year history that manages to make customers feel that time has stopped however it’s luxurious atmosphere and staff attitude and attention to customer care is right up to modern times and fit for a 5 star hotel. The gardens and hotel are simply stunning and gives customers a sense of relaxation and comfort. Pool teams are always welcoming and attentive to guests needs. My only slightly negative comment an my challenge for the hotel is to address bringing the guest rooms up to modern day standards without loosing the historical charm of the hotel.
