The Loy Krathong Festival is known as one of the most beautiful festivals in Thailand.
Loy Krathong means "floating lanterns (krathong) down a river (loi)" in Thai, and is a long-standing custom of the Thai people. The festival is held every November throughout Thailand, and the photogenic and fantastic sight of the festival is a hot topic on social networking sites. Centara Grand Hotel Osaka will host a one-day event to celebrate the first Loy Krathong. The event will include a Thai dinner buffet, performances by Thai dancers and musical instruments, and a chance to float a krathong on the water basin in front of the hotel.
