Dubai Fountain Show

The Dubai Fountain is the world’s largest choreographed fountain system. The fountains stretch over 275 metres in length (equivalent to two football pitches) and can shoot water up to the impressive height of a 50-storey building. With the 6,600 luminous lights, 50 colour projectors and a wide selection of great songs, Dubai Fountain has become one of the most popular free attractions in Dubai which entices both locals and visitors.

Best places to see Dubai Fountain

Dubai Fountain is situated on Burj Khalifa Lake, at the centre of the Downtown Dubai Development and surrounded by well-known buildings -- Dubai Mall, Souk Al Bahar and Burj Khalifa. The most popular spot to watch Dubai Fountain Show attracting thousands of people is the Waterfront Promenade just outside the Dubai Mall. If you want to avoid large crowds, the other recommended spot is the walkway around  Souk Al Bahar.

Timings

The afternoon shows start at 1 PM and 1:30 PM from Saturday to Thursday and begin at 1:30 PM and 2 PM every Friday. For the evening shows, the fountain shows perform every 30 minutes from 6 PM to 11 PM.

Getting to Dubai Fountain

The most convenient way to get to Dubai Fountain from Dubai Airport is by Metro which takes 42 minutes. The fastest way is 15 minutes by car or taxi.
